Pura Vida



Pura vida means “everything’s great” in Costa Rica, even though the direct translation is “pure life.” Either way it describes our boat well. Intrepid makes one of the best riding boats available. The smooth and dry ride is legendary as is the seaworthiness of the Kevlar hull. Pura Vida is 36 feet long and has a 10’6” beam (wide). She was just refitted with new 300 horsepower Suzuki 4 stroke outboards. Her cruising speed is 35 knots (40 mph). This means more time in the fishing grounds. She also has a 4kw 48 mile radar and Sirius satellite weather to observe and avoid storms. All of this is included in a single package with Captain Ed's history of fishing the waters of the Gulf.
